As I stated below Candace is a liar which I know first hand. She has recently been charged with perjury and in the process of being tried for her lies in regards to the Amanda Lankey case..

Candace is the person that came to our home to investigate our daughter false accusations. Erica was mad at me for punishing her because she let her boyfriend have contact with Alyssa and Amber. Our daughter started staying back at her and her boyfriends house June 10, 2005. She came back to the apartment to get some things June 14, 2005 and the locks on the apartment had been changed. Erica didn't like that so....

Here is the investigation report Candace submitted.

I will be going over her report point by point and talk about every thing from the fraudulent information to the outright lies she supplied in this report. There isn't much in her report that is accurate. I'm actually surprised she has the date she had the visit and our address correct.

For starters the trouble started on June 14, 2005 and it was during the day. This was the day Richard, Erica's boyfriend was sentenced. Erica called and told me Richard didn't get anything for a sentence and asked if she could see her children. At first I told her no because we are going to White Cloud to get our money that we posted for his bond. She said she would like to come over anyways. I agreed, after looking at the clock, we wouldn't make it to White Cloud before the courthouse was closed for lunch. After all there was never any restrictions as to the contact our daughter could have with her children.

Erica visited with her children in their bedroom for about half an hour when I asked her to leave. This is when Amber started throwing her fit. Amber picked up a shoe and threw it towards me, then she laid on the floor kicking and crying. Because she threw the shoe towards me I picked her up and put her in the corner. Amber slid back to the floor and started kicking the slider glass and crying again, grandma got her back to her feet and told he to stand there and be quiet. Amber had never thrown a fit like this before.

Erica didn't like that so she left the house screaming. A couple seconds later I went outside and stood on the deck. By this time Erica was over by the apartment trying to get inside. Richard was over there sitting in her vehicle. Erica couldn't get in the apartment and she left. I was only outside maybe 15 seconds, when I came back in Amber was putting on her shoes and laughing. We went to White Cloud to get our money back. I had to fill out a paper and the money was to be mailed to me.

When we returned home there was a message on the answering machine from Erica. “I just want to know what the hell is going on. I went to get some of my stuff and you f***ing changed the door locks. Don’t worry, you want to play evil so can I,… see ya.”  Here is that message if you want to listen to it. Evidently while we were on our way to White Cloud and back Erica stopped back at the apartment to get some thing but she couldn't get inside as I had changed the locks.

Those are the facts of what took place. That was the same thing that was told to Candace so, how could someone writing a report get so many of the facts twisted? Before this date there was never any agreement with Brian or anyone from CPS to violate. The only thing we were told prior to this date was the boyfriend was not to have contact with the children. We never let the boyfriend have contact with the children. As stated earlier Erica moved back to her and the boyfriends house on June 10, 2005, this was because of the incident that happened that day at Alyssa's graduation from Five CAP. Erica was suppose to ride with us to Alyssa's graduation but she brought her boyfriend with her instead. I had it out with Erica and her boyfriend because he was at the graduation.

The last line Candace put in her report on page 2 is in fact an out right lie. There was never any rules to follow but what was agreed upon that day was if Erica was to see her children she was to do it at CPS

The first paragraph on page 3 for the most part is accurate but I don't think there was ever a home study. Dan nor Brian never looked at anything in the home but the living area.

Again in this second paragraph on page 3 Candace has many of the facts incorrect. I would like to know how this writer can ascertain if someone is telling the truth or not when she can't even tell the truth. The children were 5 and 2, not 3 and 1. Alyssa could speak fairly well, Amber had the speech problem. As I stated earlier there was never any guideline to follow and it was never understood the visitation between Erica and her children were to be supervised. This was something that was never mentioned until June 17, 2005. There was no marijuana usage. I quite smoking this well before the children were placed in our care.

Now read the conclusion. Candace knew Erica was retaliating because of the message that was left on our answering machine. The only reason the children were removed from our care was because Erica was mad at me and she didn't want the children here any longer. If we won't let her see the children whenever she wants then we can't see them at all.

A person would think that a former police officer could write down the facts correctly as they were told to her when doing a report. I guess that's more than can be expected from someone that works for CPS?

This investigation is when they started using this parent agency agreement against us. This agreement was something that was never discussed with us. This agreement was something we were never shown. This agreement was something we had no hand in creating. This agreement was something we never knew existed until much later.

Now tell me. How could this have been done in coordination with us if there was nothing in this agreement that was ever discussed with us? Brian is good at making up his own lies.
